American College Foundation Scholarship

Lou & Lillian Padolf Foundation Scholarship

Basic requirements: Top 25% of their class from a Pinellas County High School, main residence north of Walsingham & south of Klosterman in mid-Pinellas County, and a attend a college/university in the State of Florida. Deadline is May 31, 2013.

Knology Sports Scholars

WPDS-TV14, the Pinellas Education Foundation and KNOLOGY are proud to kick-off the third season of the Knology Sports Scholar Correspondent program!
Every high school production department that fulfills the requirements of producing at least two approved sports packages will earn a $1,000 grant from Knology. IN ADDITION, each participating high school television production teacher/advisor can nominate one senior student who has been most involved in this project to be a finalist for a $2,000 Knology Cup Sports Correspondent of the Year scholarship that will be awarded at the annual PCAC Awards Banquet in May.
All Knology Cup Sports Correspondent of the Year nominees will be recognized at the Student Film Festival at St. Petersburg College, Clearwater Campus.
We look forward to your participation in year two of this very beneficial program for both the students and teachers of Pinellas County Schools!

Southern Scholarship Foundation

Southern Scholarship Foundation provides scholarship opportunities for students attending or planning to attend: Florida State University, Florida A & M University, University of Florida, Florida Gulf Coast University, Tallahassee Community College, and Santa Fe College. SSF provides rent-free scholarship housing for qualified students demonstrating academic achievement (with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA), financial need (as identified on the FAFSA), and good character. With our scholarship, students save $10,000 - $12,000 per year. We have 26 scholarship houses throughout the state of Florida and are looking to extend our recruitment efforts. For Fall 2013, we are expecting to award roughly 150 scholarships (over 1 million dollars in scholarships) for our scholarships houses. We have attached our recruitment flyer in hopes that you can share it with any eligible students you may know. We accept applications year-round... The sooner students submit a completed application, the better! Please spread the word to students, department chairs, co-workers, etc. Our website is also a great source for information: www.southernscholarship.org .
